Teacher placement day
The Office of Career Services is hosting the 40th Annual Teacher Placement Day Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon in the Multipurpose Building Arena.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to speak with school administrators from over 175 districts and discuss vacant positions for the 2008-2009 school-year.
There is no registration for the event. Those who attend should wear professional attire and bring copies of their resumes.

Political science office moves, new number
The Department of Political Science moved to Wood 5.
The new number is 543-8948 and faculty numbers remain the same.
Lifeguard training course
There will be a lifeguard class offered at the Multipurpose Building in April for $150.
All students must be 15-years-old and be able to swim 300 yards continuously, using the front crawl and breaststroke.
The class meets April 4-6, 11-12, 18-20 and 25.

Motorcycle safety class
The Missouri Safety Center's motorcycle safety program is offering a 15-hour Basic Rider Course at a discount to all faculty, staff and students.
The course will cost $125. The class does not count for college credit. It will be 6:30-10 p.m. Fridays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sundays.

SGA applications due
Any student who wishes to run for a senator position in the Student Government Assocation may pick-up an application in Union 211A.
It must return an application, with 30 signatures from your college, to Josh Wiseman's mail box at the office by 5 p.m. Monday.
Elections for next school year are April 8 and 9.
UCM wins multiple awards
UCM took six awards in the nation's largest educational advertising awards competition last week.
