Jessica Utrecht, junior graphic arts major, practices techniques taught at the R.A.D. Basic Self-Defense Course for Women. The class, which is taught by certified instructors from the UCM Department of Public Safety, meets Tuesday nights. Although the course has began, a second one will be offered Wednesday nights in March. The course is free to UCM students, employees and dependants.
