College of Education festival
Every spring, the largest children's literature festival in America takes place at the James C. Kirkpatrick Library. Children's book authors and illustrators will come to the library to speak to children and sign books.
Students from around the area can come meet the authors. In 2003, more than 6,500 students visited the festival. Volunteers host the festival and assist the authors during the day. Many teacher education students participate in the festival.
This year the festival will take place during Spring Break, March 10 and 11.
