Night Ryder
The Night Ryder committee has been considering a new provider.

Along with a new provider, the committee is hoping to
make some more changes. One of the changes includes setting
a time schedule as to when the transportation will be available at what location. The routes, however, will remain unchanged with these new additions.

Senator Elections

There were eight candidates present for a small interview in
front of the current senators. These candidates included Nick
Sagez, Carlie Phillips, Nathan Lacey, Elizabeth Cook, Martiae
Jenkins, Kevin Patton, Faith Rains and Kirk Fletcher. The students were called to the front of the room, where they introduced themselves, talked about organizations in which they were involved in and answered questions the current senators asked them. The candidates will be notified at a later time regarding the senator election process.

Aug. 29 Meeting
During the Student Government Association meeting on Aug.
29, several topics were discussed. Senator Ozharat shared that
there are over one hundred exchange students at CMSU this year.

Senator Burgess announced that Week of Welcome was a success. Student Governor Anthony Arton reported he attended the Board of Governor's retreat in July, where the major topic discussed was the University name change.
