Pat Setser, vice president of the Central Alumni Band Association, received the 2006 Distinguished Alumni Award. Setser earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 1973 and a Master of Arts in Music Education in 1978, both from Central. She also has completed post-graduate work in music education at Central and several other universities. She is the associate conductor for the Kansas City Wind Symphony and serves on the board of directors of the Warrensburg Community Band.
