Although the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Agriculture (Ag) Week was Feb 13 through 18, the Central Aggies postponed it to last week, due to their busy schedules.

"We figured everyone would be caught up with classes and have some down town after spring break," said Jessica Murry, the member who suggested the change of dates.

Wednesday night was game night out at the Central's shooting range.

"We played a card game and set around talking about upcoming events," Lindsey Moore, president of Ag Club, said.

"It was nice for everyone to get together and just talk," Amy Klein said. "We get so busy with school and jobs that we don't get time to keep in contact with our friends. On Wednesday night, I got to catch up on much-needed talks with my friends and find out what has been going on in their lives."

Thursday night was a scavenger hunt. Members were divided into teams of two to find clues.

"It is a tradition that is done on Thursday night," Moore said. "It is what everyone looks forward to."

Dave Ewing, Ag Club advisor and Central's farm manager, has designed a hunt for FFA week for several years.

"Jason [Scales] and he were the masterminds behind it this year," Moore said.

The scavenger hunt consisted of tracking where streets are in Warrensburg, phone numbers of individuals, what signs say and riddles.

"[Bryan] Rumons and Brice [Fisher] won the something funky category," Amy Bouselli, member, said. "He showed Dave and Jason a picture of him in his underwear."

"We had to look up stuff in the phone book, find out what signs like Lowe's says; locate something funky, something lacy, a harmonica and a letter jacket," Moore said.

"You have a life line that you can call and ask them, but you have to give them the password or they won't tell you the answer," Moore said. The groups had to rendevouz at Player's to see who won first prize for the most answered questions.
