An investigation resumes for the identification of suspects involved in a campus stabbing.
Members of Central's Department of Public Safety are working with area law enforcement to apprehend two unidentified suspects involved in a disturbance in South Ellis Hall on Dec. 15 at approximately 3:15 p.m.
The victim, who was visiting a South Ellis Hall resident, was struck in the abodomen with a knife and suffered a broken nose. After undergoing surgery Dec. 21, the victim is home with his parents in the St. Louis area, said Director of Police, Bob Ahring.
One suspect turned himself in and has been questioned about the incident. One of the three suspects was identified as a Central student.
The incident apparently stemmed from a disagreement which took place during the week previous to the fight.
"Until students came back [from break] the investigation was at a standstill," Ahring said.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Public Safety or the TIPS hotline 543-8477.
