SILENT ART AUCTION
Central's Art Center Gallery will conduct a silent auction of more than 50 selected pieces of art by the artist Fanita "Marie" Davis McCubbin. The auction is taking place now through Dec. 15 in the Art Center Gallery. The Art Center Gallery will host a public reception from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 15. SEASONAL TASTINGS CHORAL CONCERT
This year the Collegiate Choir and the Vocal Jazz Ensemble will present a concert of holiday music at 7:30 p.m. today at Hart Recital Hall. This concert is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Robert Lawrence at 543-4973.
EDUCATION, HUMAN SERVICES ADVISING RELOCATED
The College of Education and Human Services Advising Center has been relocated to Lovinger 2160. Call 543-4497 for appointments.
HEALTH CENTER BREAK HOURS
The Health Center will be open for services Dec. 20 and Jan. 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. over the semester break. Pharmacy clients are encouraged to plan ahead to pick up prescription refills from the dispensary on these two dates only. Spring semester hours resume on Jan. 9, when the Health Center will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Contact the Health Center at 543-4770 for more information.

"Women in Islam: Unveiling the Truth," with Sally Salah and Elaf Sifan will be discussed today beginning at 11 a.m. on the first floor in Lovinger auditorium.

A legislative briefing and discussion session is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday in Union 237B. Otto Fajen, legislative director for the Missouri National Education Association, will present the briefing to discuss budget cuts for higher education.
