Sexual assault

The Warrensburg Police Department is investigating the sexual assault of a female student in the downtown area. The incident took place at approximately 1:45 a.m. Friday.
The victim reported she was grabbed by an unidentified male while in the 100 block of West Pine Street and pulled into a nearby alley where she struggled with the assailant and escaped.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build with blond hair. The victim believes she scratched the suspect on the left side of his face during the struggle.
