After a tough opening weekend, the Jennies' soccer team has one thing on its mind - to not lose two games in a row. The Jennies have worked hard to have a 1-1 record early on, but the team received lessons in each of its first two matches. A fter a lengthy night of football that saw the Mules pound the Mavericks from Minnesota State into the ground, it was surprising that Head Coach Willie Fritz thought the team needed a lot of improvement. The Jennies' volleyball team, who are ranked 20th in the first regular season AVCA-II Poll, return to action this weekend with a trip to Denver for the annual Premier Challenge. The Central Missouri Mules golf team didn't take long to win their first tournament of 2008-09 season. The Mules opened their 2008 fall season by winning the Missouri Intercollegiate Meet at The Club at Porto Cima - Sunrise Beach, Mo. The final round of competition scheduled for Wednesday was rained out, so Tuesday's first two rounds were the final results of the 16-team event.… Post the First Comment
