It feels strange to sum up four years of college experience in a few words, but if I had to use one to describe it all, it would be this: Hard.

It was hard moving away from home to leave my family for a new place and new people I knew nothing about.

It was hard to begin a life on my own, with no parents to control my actions.

Order another bag of peanuts, pass the cotton candy and get used to the smell of sawdust, because the circus tour has been extended. Yes, my friends, welcome to the primary that will not die.

You'd think that after six thrill-filled weeks of hosting this sideshow competition of rival ringmasters outdoing each other in the Like A Normal Human Animal Act, the State of Pennsylvania would selflessly provide the rest of the country with a semblance of closure by permanently pulling up the stakes of this traveling Big Top.

After a short-lived recovery in 2006-07, faculty salaries are lagging behind inflation again this year. Yet the salaries paid to head football coaches, presidents and other top administrators do not seem to reflect an economic downturn.

Over the past three decades, the ranks of contingent faculty, nonfaculty professionals and administrators have swelled while the number of tenured and tenure-track faculty stagnated.

Students at the Newman Center discovered the truth about exorcism from Rev. Steven Hansen, who spoke on campus April 24.

According to Merriam-Webster's dictionary, exorcism is the process of freeing a person from an evil spirit. Hansen said there is also a practice of minor exorcism, in which the person or people are not deemed to be possessed by evil spirits, but are seemingly disturbed.

Test anxiety involves any changes in an individual that affect the test-taking process or results.
"Most students experience a reasonable amount of anxiety before a test, which is necessary for top performance," Ochester said.

Coming into this past weekend's match up, everybody in the MIAA was wondering how the Mules' baseball team would handle Emporia State.
The decision was between spikes or skates for Blaine Rutledge. The Chaska, Minn., native earned high school all-conference baseball honors twice, but he also enjoyed playing center, forward and defenseman for the hockey team.

One thing Rutledge liked about hockey was the toughness the game demanded.
